3.6. Protective Covers

The TS Series MagnaDC power supply includes a protective shield for the AC input terminals and a second protective shield for the DC output and remote sense terminals. The covers shield the terminals from accidental contact and should be installed after all electrical connections have been made and verified.

Before attaching the covers, complete the AC input, DC output, and remote sense connections described in the previous sections. Route the cables through the cover openings, place each cover over its terminals, align the screw holes, and secure the cover using the included mating hardware.
